How it all began

Back in 1990, while living in Hawaii with a wife and two young children, Rick Busekrus started a small side business in addition to his regular job. The new company was christened R&B Sales – “R” for Rick and “B” for Betty, his wife. Initially, the company focused on retail sales and wholesale distribution of personalized children’s books. In 1998, Rick and his family moved to Colorado Springs, where he began working as a salesman for a packaging company. Having spent over two decades in sales, and with his Colorado experience in the packaging industry, he saw the opportunity to expand his own business. In 2005, R&B Sales incorporated as a foam fabrication plant. For nearly twenty years, we have been serving customers in the Colorado region with integrity, dedication, and professionalism.

Family owned and operated

We’ve operated as a family-run business from the beginning. Acting as president and primary salesman, Rick ran the company with Betty managing the office and his sister Julie managing production. Over the years, every one of Rick and Betty’s eight children worked at the company for varying lengths of time. We take our love of family and extend it to the community -- a community that includes our customers. As an R&B customer, you will be treated with dignity and respect as we build a business relationship.

What we do​

R&B specializes in foam fabrication and design. Our machines cut the foam to size, and our fabricators assemble your product using heat guns or hot glue to seal the pieces together.

We also provide custom and stock boxes, along with necessary commodity items. From kraft paper to stretch film, we stock items that are in demand within the packaging industry.
